Vision Insurance

Vision insurance commonly covers annual exams, help set aside funds for corrective eye-wear, and supplement your health plan for major vision-related medical problems.

Eye-wear, in particular, can be quite expensive, and vision insurance helps reduce those costs. Eye injuries and diseases are not covered by vision insurance but are likely to be included under your health plan.

Employees like the option of choosing a vision benefit, and employers are able to offer the coverage at low monthly rates. Group vision coverage often has broader benefits than individual insurance, including more providers from which to choose. Ask one of our licensed agents whether an individual vision plan is right for you, or ask how your employer can begin to offer it as a benefit.
